A Student's Experience In Japan — Riding the Trains and Other Adventures

Neil, a computer engineering major at the University of Nebraska, recently returned from a semester at Senshu University in Japan. Check out his photos and musings on his blog

Neil says, "...the 3 months I spent in Japan studying abroad were the 3 best months of my life. I met so many great people, made so many great memories, and my Japanese fluency went through the roof. I still have a long ways to go and wish I was still in Japan, but I hope to become fluent one day. I also grew very fond of using the trains in Japan. Figuring out how the trains work is complicated and quite a big task to make sure you get on the correct train. One thing I highly recommend for anyone studying abroad in Japan is to figure out how to travel on the trains alone."

Thank you Lockheed Martin for sponsoring Neil and four other students in Fall 2012!
