Rebekah Blume - Fall 2022

I cannot thank you enough for your scholarship. I have been trying to come back to japan since my time studying abroad when I was 15 and it would not have been possible without the help of this scholarship. So far my time in Japan has been going well, I have been making lots of friends, joining circles, and learning more Japanese. My dream is to be a J rock singer in Japan and due to this I have been participating in music circles to get performance experience as a singer. I have also made sure to stay true to JUSFC`s mission by teaching others about America and learning as much as I can about Japanese culture. Attached is a photo of me with friends whom I formed a band with and performed in a live.
