Retired Partner, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett

Mr. Sneider is a retired partner from the Corporate Department at the law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He was head of the Tokyo office, and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Sneider advised both Japanese and multinational clients in cross-border transactions involving Japan, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions.  Before joining the Tokyo office he was an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department in New York, New York. Mr. Sneider is a former commissioner at the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission.

Mr. Sneider received a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
